Piano, Piano for Leisure, Organ, Accordion, Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Classical Guitar, Harp, Recorder, Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Saxophone, Saxophone for Leisure, Trumpet, Trombone, Bass Trombone, Euphonium, Horn, Tuba, Band, Percussion, Singing, Singing for Leisure, Musical Theatre, Contemporary Popular Music (CPM) (Bass, Guitar, Vocals, Drums or Keyboard).
Exams for individuals in the following speech & drama subjects are also available: Speech & Performance, Drama & Communication and Voice & Communication.
Group exams are available in the following subjects: Ensemble Performance, and Speech & Communication.
AMEB Written Exams are available in the following music subjects: Musicianship, Music Craft and Theory of Music.
AMEB Written Exams are available in the following speech & drama subjects: Speech & Performance Theory.
As of Monday 18 January 2021, all AMEB online music theory exams are now accessible via your online browser. This exciting development means that online users of Theory of Music, Music Craft and Musicianship exams no longer need to download and install software onto their computers in order to sit or review an online music exam. This also means that AMEB exams are accessible on computers and devices that were previously not supported by the software such as Surface Pro computers, tablets and smart phones.
